Water, Water Everywhere...

A while ago, Ahnyanka Delphin, owner of the New Champagne Rooms vaudeville club in Babbage Square discovered a small leak. It's a new building, and apparently the plumbing has some quirks. Here's Ahnya contemplating a puddle on the carpeting.



It's just a bit of water, though. Ahnya's a great builder and I was sure she would have the leak repaired in no time. What could possibly go wrong? Well...



Apparently, Ahnya is a wonderful, talented, beautiful woman... but completely incompetent as a plumber. Oh, dear. Over the weekend, I was startled to see that our beautiful club was rapidly submerging!



But in true New Babbage Style, Ahnya has decided that when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. And so we present to you....

BELLY UP!



On Saturday May 9th, at 11am SLT, our vaudevillian theater in New Babbage proudly (and damply) presents a special treat. The synchronized water ballet team "Belly Up" will take to the waters inside the New Champagne Rooms. These lovely merfolk put on an amazing show. Please don your finery and water wings and join us!

There will be seating available in the balcony for folks who want to stay dry while watching the show, but if you care to wear something that can get a bit damp there are still seats around the stage... though they may be floating.
